Love Thy Barber is a small, senior team in Sandy, UT — founded by Modesto Lopez back in 2010. Today the chairs are run by Modesto, Sammy, and Erica— men's cuts and skin fades, precision beard work, and soft, lived-in color.

Where are you located? Is there parking?+
We’re inside Vara Salon at 10965 State St, Suite 217, in Sandy, UT 84070 — just off the 9000 South exit on I-15. Free covered parking is right out front.
Do you take walk-ins?+
Love Thy Barber is by appointment only — our small team (Modesto, Sammy, and Erica) keeps every visit scheduled, so book online and pick the time that works. Booking is quick, confirmation is instant, and because there are three chairs you can usually get a same-week appointment.
How much is a haircut?+
Men’s haircuts are $35 and kids’ cuts are $30. Women’s haircuts start at $70, all-over color from $90, and highlights from $125. On Thursdays, all haircuts, beard trims, and shaves are $24.
Do you cut kids’ hair?+
Yes. Kids’ haircuts are $30 (shampoo & styled), and there’s a $24 special for babies and young toddlers ages 0–10. Same calm chair, same care.
How long is a color or highlights appointment?+
Plan for a 2–3 hour appointment for full highlights or all-over color from start to finish. Peak Saturdays go fast, so book online as soon as you have a date in mind.
What products do your stylists use?+
Salon-grade lines only — Olaplex bond-builders, Redken Shades EQ for glossing, professional purple shampoo for blondes, and Moroccan oil treatments. During every appointment, your stylist walks you through the exact products they used and what to use at home so your color and shape last longer.
Can I cancel or reschedule?+
Yes — life happens. We just need at least 12 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel, which you can do right from your Vagaro confirmation. Cancellations inside 12 hours, or no-shows, are charged the full price of the booked service.
